Geophysics and micro-geophysics applied in archaeology use some methods and techniques for site investigations or to evaluate the conservation stage of a target.
We use high resolution magnetic measurements (total magnetic field - 1, 2, 3, gradients, susceptibility), electric measurements (ERT, mapping with twin or multi twin arrays - 4, 5 ) and radar.
In the last years we have investigated some points of interest such as roman castra, tumuli, old graviars and medieval domains.
Also worth mentioning is the applicability of geophysical methods to evaluate old constructions, especially to reveal the paths of moisture diffusion through walls and substructures.
